The Hispanic Society Bridgeport Police Inc. was established In 1985 by a group of dedicated
Police Officers of latin descent who were proud of their Heritage. Their goal was to develop a friendly and fraternal relationship amongst it's members as well as establishing a relationship with the community. The structure of the Society began with an executive board chaired by it's first President Juan Quintana and a membership of less than 25. Today our membership proudly stands at approximately 95. Over the years the Society has organized, volunteered, and participated in numerous public and private events like the city's annual Puerto Rican parade, Toy drives, Bridgeport Caribe Youth league, and in 2006 held it's 20th. annual Christmas awards banquet. The Society also has proudly helped smaller departmants form their own organizations.

The Society will continue to cultivate and preserve the culture and identity of our members and constantly strive to create a harmonious and friendly fraternal enviroment for all and to enhance and promote the ideas, suggestions, and concerns of our members with pride, and Integrity.
